邮箱大战再度升级 | [e时代笔录]
Wired News消息，Yahoo收购了一家Web Email供应商——Oddpost，使其与Google的竞争进一步升级。Oddpost的长处并不是大容量那么简单（尽管它提供的邮件空间也有50MB），它的技术（最终体现在界面和功能上）才是Yahoo真正看中的地方。
Oddpost于上周五宣布：“Oddpost is thrilled to declare that we've been acquired by Yahoo.”他们将投入开发新一代的Yahoo Mail产品，而Oddpost现有的用户将来会被迁移到新产品中去。
Yahoo发言人昨天称：Oddpost的技术最终会被整合到Yahoo Mail和其他Yahoo服务中去。“The acquisition of Oddpost provides us with outstanding technical expertise, which will be brought to bear across the entire Yahoo network.”
目前Google Gmail在容量、界面、功能各个方面都有优于Yahoo Mail的地方，而Oddpost的仿Outlook界面、支持鼠标Drag-N-Drop操作、通过RSS订阅Blog及新闻站点等功能未来被整合到已经拥有超大量忠实用户Yahoo Mail中去后，后者的竞争力无疑会大大提升。
还是那句话，升吧升吧，邮箱功能强了，大伙就尽情地用吧。
