Firefox用户不爱点广告 | [Media & Communications]
一家德国的在线广告公司Adtech AG12月2日发表调查数据称，IE浏览器用户点击网页广告的比例比Firefox浏览器用户高出四倍。
Adtech依据欧洲1000家采用Adtech广告服务器的网站在今年10月至11月间的访问数据，统计出仅有0.11%的Firefox用户点击了广告，而同期相同网站上不同版本IE用户的广告点击率分别为IE5.5的0.53%、IE5.x的0.49和IE6.0的0.44%，具体数据如下：

Adtech的COO（首席运营官）Dirk Freytag表示：“这种现象发生的原因可能是Firefox与IE用户之间有着截然不同的浏览习惯，或者因为打开了popup blocker功能。”是的，Dirk的分析一点儿也没错：
目前阶段而言，Firefox用户多位深度Internet用户，他们要么有一定的技术背景，要么拥有丰富的Internet经验。不像IE用户——他们多半属于比较普通的用户——常常会误点广告。而不像前者那样通常只会点击自己真正感兴趣的广告。
另外一方面，Firefox浏览器自身带了popup blocker功能，而IE用户只有使用第三方软件或升级到Windows XP SP2才能拥有此项功能。这也是造成这项数据差异的很重要的原因。
Firefox用户数虽然在最近的几个月里激增，但是从全局来看，所占的比例还很小，根据Adtech 11月的数据，欧洲互联网用户中Firefox用户的比例是5.5%。在中国，这个比例更小，我的gaoming.net网站11月访问者中Firefox用户的比例是3.9%；而我手头的一个护肤产品中文网站11月份的访问统计数据显示，Firefox用户的比例不足0.1%。所以，现阶段而言，这个数据反映的问题尚不会对在线广告市场产生影响。相信即使从长远角度考量，受影响的也只会是Popup广告（这个问题可以参阅我较早前的一篇文字）
