两款GMail利器 | [Toys & Gadgets]
今日发现两款为GMail用户提供便利的FreeWare：Gmail Agent和POP Goes the Gmail。
Gmail Agent是一款支持多帐号的自动查信器
设置帐号密码后，Gmail Agent躺在你的System Tray里面，当有新邮件到达你的Gmail信箱时，它会自动提醒:
另外，Gmail Agent还提供通讯录导入功能：
Gmail Agent这个应用程序架构在作者Johnvey Hwang自行开发了一套为.Net Framework写的Gmail API（目前版本为0.5，因此Gmail Agent应用程序版本亦为0.5）上，并有完整的文档。应用程序和API皆为Open Source（开放源代码），按GPL发布。这就是说，你也可以利用这套API去写自己的应用。
POP Goes the Gmail同样基于.Net，它在本地为Gmail Web Server和你的邮件客户端软件提供一个SMTP/POP3接口。通过它，你可以用Outlook、Netscape、Foxmail等等软件直接收发Gmail信件，而无需上Web。该软件目前版本V0.9，Freeware，向作者捐助后，可以下载源代码。

又在CPAN( http://www.cpan.org/ )发现一个for Gmail的perl模块：WWW-Scraper-Gmail( http://search.cpan.org/~kastner/WWW-Scraper-Gmail-0.03/ )，目前版本0.03。
